Learn what it looks like to build a trauma-informed space around you. Leave the session with practical guidelines through a panel of foster parents as you engage the foster care system. This session is best for those who have decided to pursue the licensing process, are in the licensing process, or have recently become a foster parent.
Foster Parents as Partners

Hear from experts who work with families about navigating shared parenting. Participants will leave the session with prospectives of familiar cycles that impact foster care, navigating boundaries, developing empathy, and advocating well on the child welfare team. This session is best for those in the licensing process or who are licensed for any length of time. Childcare will be provided.
