FVC Visitation Cottage is an honorable and home-life environment for family visitations including a sensory play studio. The space can host sibling visits, shared parenting experiences for special occasions (birthdays and holidays), therapy sessions, and supervised visitation to promote dignity and connection.

Play Studio

Building Relationships

Our Play Studio is a sensory-rich, trauma-informed playroom serving as a therapeutic play haven for the kids we serve as well as their caregivers. Children, after trauma or separation, often have difficulty connecting with others. Play is the work of childhood. Not only is play fun, but it helps children develop cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills.

Building Relationships

Families separated in foster care often lose the basic practice of making meals together. FVC creates opportunities to cook together in order to build normalcy and togetherness.
