Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) equips foster and kinship caregivers with practical, evidence-based skills to build stronger connections with children and teens (ages 2-18). CARE compliments ongoing therapeutic services and provides tools that can be used in any setting.
This four-hour, hands on training includes:
Strategies to improve child-adult relationships
Techniques to encourage cooperation and positive behavior
Tools to create a supportive, engaging environment
Interactive activities and live practice with trainer feedback
Earn a 4-hour certificate toward relicensing. Childcare available onsite with trauma-informed, background-checked volunteers.
