Open support group for anyone fostering or providing kinship care. Childcare will engage all ages in multi-sensory play! While caregivers are together in our beautiful new space, kids will be next door having fun with volunteers.
This time we have a unique opportunity for forever children in your home (whether biological or adopted) to be supported processing foster care. We know that when adults decide to do kinship or foster care, it impacts the WHOLE family and yet there is very few (if any!) content directed to the children already in the home.
Brittany Luther, Child Life Specialist, created curriculum and hold group sessions around waiting, loss, unknowns, jealousy, frustrations, and grief and she'll be there Sunday ready to support our kiddos!
