Parents Night Out

Foster Village Charlotte is working to create semi-regular Parents Night Out events with the help of sensitivity trained and background checked volunteers that have a heart for loving on our precious foster children so foster/kinship parents can get a much-deserved break. These events also allow for other foster families to meet each other and provide a chance for them to connect together offsite. If you love children and have a desire to volunteer in this way, subscribe to our newsletter and look for more details as we launch!

Family Meet Ups

Over the past year, Foster Village Charlotte has been hosting quarterly events for our families all over the city. We get together to celebrate birthdays, laugh, play, and even shed a few tears. These events are always open to the public as well and we've seen some beautiful interactions with prospective families that took the leap into foster care after spending time with our families and having the opportunity to ask questions in the safety of our group. Thanks to local partnerships, we now have a few consistent places to meet and look forward to many more in the days ahead! If you are a foster/kinship family that would like to be added to information about these events, please subscribe to our newsletter!

Support Groups & Moms/Dads Night Outs

Sometimes it's important to gather with people that "get it" and either talk about foster care non-stop or take a break from it all together. There are several grassroots support groups that have popped up all over the city. Foster Village Charlotte longs to be the connector of information as to where these groups meet and continue to empower foster families to build their own. If you are a foster/kinship family that would like to be added to information about these events, please subscribe to our newsletter!
